Every gifted thinker who would not otherwise be able to afford to attend the most prominent university in the world for further education is eligible for the fully financed UK scholarship. The goal of the international fellowship is to help the institution realize its mission of attracting the greatest minds to its community in Oxford.

In 2001, the year the Clarendon Fund was founded, it awarded the Oxford scholarship to foreign students studying in the UK. The fund essentially serves to promote the university’s mission of excellence in research and education and is primarily funded by the Oxford University Press. Each year, 200 scholarships are given to foreign students in an effort to successfully satisfy Oxford University’s fundamental mission. The Oxford University scholarship offers students a chance of a lifetime by supporting their own goals.

Clarendon Oxford Scholarship Benefits

▪ The master’s and DPhil programs tuition costs will be paid in full.

▪ The students will get annual subsidies for living costs.

▪ The Clarendon Scholar’s Association will include the scholars.

▪ Symposia, cultural locations like theatres, and historical sites will all be accessible to scholars.

Eligibility Criteria for the Oxford Clarendon Scholarship

▪ Any student can apply, regardless of gender, nationality, colour or ethnicity.

▪ This scholarship has no restrictions on subjects.

▪ Admission to Oxford University is required for the student to pursue a graduate degree (master’s or DPhil).

▪ Students who are already enrolled in master’s programmes and wish to pursue a second part-time master’s degree or a second part-time DPhil at Oxford may also qualify for funding. (The student must be currently studying at Oxford).

▪ Diploma and post-graduate programmes are not admissible.

▪ Students with potential academic motivation and aptitude to continue the chosen courses are given special consideration.

▪ An applicant should choose the programme that interests them.

▪ All interested individuals should submit an application for admission to the university’s master’s or doctorate programmes first.

▪ The applicant will automatically be chosen for the scholarship after submitting an application for admission.

How to apply?

▪ The application process for this award is not unique.

▪ Between December and January, applicants must submit applications for graduate programs at Oxford University.

▪ If the applicant is eligible, the institution or institute will instantly forward the applicant’s name and scholarship application.

▪ The Clarendon Fund will get in touch with you via email and make you an offer after you are shortlisted.

▪ The offer letter must be accepted.

▪ The candidate must also adhere to the contract conditions of the college they have chosen.

▪ If you have previously declined a financing offer from Oxford, you won’t ever receive another funding offer from them.

Application Deadline

All students may apply based on the course by the December or January.
